How to join us

  • Purchase your ticket below or buy your ticket at the door. If you won’t be able to join us in person, consider sponsoring a ticket for someone else or making a donation.

  • Join us at the Burnsville Town Center on Friday, October 3. If you purchase an advance ticket online, please plan on arriving during your allotted ticket time.

  • Redeem your ticket to choose handmade bowl(s), soup, bread, and dessert inside.

  • Take your meal home, sit inside the Town Center, or bring your meal outside to the deck at Roland’s Bar to share your meal with neighbors old and new.

  • Enjoy our kids activities across the street in the lawn behind the NuWray Hotel.

  • Stop by the community bake sale featuring additional homemade breads and desserts to take home and our Dig In T-shirts!

Since 2010, we have been tending gardens, sharing fresh food, and joyfully bringing people together to ensure that everyone can eat well in our community. We have always believed that by coming together and sharing the work, resources, knowledge, and fruits of the harvests, the fabric of our community is strengthened

The Empty Bowls dinner is our main annual fundraiser. Last year’s Empty Bowls event was cancelled in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

Like so many, Dig In’s people and gardens were impacted by the storm. But through the support of friends and neighbors, donations, and some heavy machinery, our organization has recovered and continues to meet people’s ever–growing need for fresh food. Dig In plans to honor Helene’s impact at a special memorial table at the event and through sharing stories of food resiliency within the Dig In community.

Gifts of all kinds make our work possible. If you and your guests are able to make a financial donation to Dig In, thank you! And if you have other ways you can be part of growing and sharing food with us, please be in touch.

Help be a part of creating this event! Sign up to volunteer here.
